Ingredients

  • 12 croissants
  • 8 green leaf lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 English cucumber
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 22 oz. sliced turkey breast 36 slices –
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 16 wooden picks


Instructions

  1. Thoroughly rinse the leaf lettuce and pat dry.
  2. Rinse the tomatoes and cucumber, then slice them thinly. Arrange all vegetables on a platter.
  3. Slice each croissant in half and toast them. Alternatively, broil halved croissants in the oven until lightly toasted.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on the top halves of the croissants; place a slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom halves.
  5. Add lettuce leaves on top of the mayonnaise, followed by layers of turkey.
  6. Top with tomato and cucumber slices; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Assemble the croissant halves into sandwiches, securing each with wooden picks, then slice in half.
  8. Arrange on a serving platter and serve.

Notes

You can customize the sandwich by adding or substituting your favorite ingredients.
For a lighter option, use less mayonnaise or opt for a low-fat version.
